Registered Psychologist and founder of Footscray Psychology, Brie has one mission - to make therapeutic care accessible.
Experienced in private practice with a history in community care, Brie started Footscray Psychology with a commitment to bringing quality, accessible care to the Inner West of Melbourne.
Brie works with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma and post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, relationship and attachment difficulties, emotion regulation, and life transitions, including perinatal care.
Her practice draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), attachment-informed approaches and supportive counselling, tailored to each client's needs and goals.

Send us an enquiry through the form below, or get in touch by phone or email. You do not need a referral needed to start the conversation.
2. Intake & booking
We'll email you a short intake form and welcome pack. Once that's done, we'll work with you to find a session that suits you.
3. Your first session
This one's about getting to know you, what's brought you here, and what you'd like to change. From there, we'll go at your pace.
Fees & funding
We always endeavour to provide as many funding pathways as possible, increasing access to our care. If your funding provider is not listed, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how we can help you.

A 50-minute session, in person or via telehealth. Medicare rebates of $101.55 may apply with a GP referral. -

A 50-minute session for couples or families. No referral needed as Medicare rebates don't apply to these sessions.

$ Rebates available
With a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, you can claim $101.55 back per session, for up to 10 sessions a year. Please speak to your GP regarding your eligibility.

Sessions are billed directly to your funder. We are registered with and have experience with most major funding providers. Please let us know your situation when you get in touch.

If you've been affected by crime, funded counselling may be available to you. We have helped many victims of crime through their applications and healing journeys.

Some private health policies cover psychology, please check with your insurer directly. Please note we don't currently offer HICAPS, so you may pay upfront and claim back from your insurer.

We are currently accepting new clients across all of our services.
Our operating hours are:
Tuesday - 9am to 6pm
Wednesday - 9am to 5pm
Thursday - 9am to 6pm -
You do not need a referral for our services.
However, if you are looking to access our services through Medicare, you will need a referral from your GP. -
If you have a referral from your GP, you can claim rebates back from Medicare for up to 10 sessions. We'll check your plan and referral details with you at your first appointment.

Yes, we offer telehealth sessions. They work just like an in-person appointment, and are eligible for Medicare rebates if you have a referral from your GP.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
